Fluid dynamics fellow engineer

About this position

PT Faraday Tekno Energi is starting a partnership with the School of Applied STEM, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, to begin prototyping a solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle for the mapping application. An engineer with an understanding of CFD will be needed to execute the process sufficiently.


  • Perform and evaluate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) model
  • Supervise and initiate the UAV prototyping process
  • Keep track of design, simulation, and fabrication process

Basic qualifications

  • Intermediate proficiency in MATLAB-Simulink
  • Intermediate proficiency in ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS Mechanical
  • Available to be in BSD City Kab Tangerang for face-to-face meeting, coordination, design, and fabrication process.
  • No specific gender/ age preference.

Working hours

  • To be determined before project initiation, expected to be at 8-15 hours per week.


  • Fellow engineers will be paid Rp100.000,- per hour applicable for the project duration. Working hours will be based on a WBS package pre-arranged before the project.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Able to provide any means of transportation to themselves for various trips during the project with travel costs borne by the project sponsor.
